Description
With school districts across the country closing in the wake of the COVID-19 threat, K-12 schools are working hard to provide their students with as much continuity in education as possible. This often involves incorporating copyright-protected content into distance education activities. Which raises many questions, such as:
- How much can librarians and other K-12 educators legally do with copyright-protected content under these circumstances?
- What tools should you use?
- Does the law apply differently than it would for providing distance learning before COVID-19?
This 90-minute recorded workshop will show you how to answer these questions and many more.

*Personal Note*
This workshop is being offered in response to a true crisis, and we want to make it as accessible to as many people who need it as possible. While we cannot afford to invest the time and resources required to pull this workshop together, offer it, and follow up with you afterward for free, we can reduce our standard pricing.
We offer comparable workshops for $149 and up, with a 20% discount for groups of 4 or more from the same institution. Instead, we are offering this workshop for $99 per person and, for the first time, offering a flat fee of $500 (the cost for 5 individuals) for all staff at the same school. Contact us if your district is interested in district-wide access, and we’ll give you custom pricing.
We truly are all in this together, and working together, we can continue to keep the education of our children the priority it should be, even in the midst of this bizarre health and social crisis.
